How the CareFall Care alarm works

CareFall Care is designed to be simple for the wearer and reassuring for the people who care about them.

Press and hold the SOS button for 3 seconds and the CareFall Care alarm starts a clear response process — calling chosen emergency contacts in priority order, sharing useful information and logging what happened.

From button press to response

The CareFall Care alarm is made to keep things simple in a stressful moment.

Press and hold for 3 seconds

The wearer presses and holds the SOS button for 3 seconds to start an alert.

Warning and cancel option

The alarm gives a warning. If it was pressed by mistake, there is a chance to stop the alert before calls begin.

Contacts are called in order

CareFall Care begins calling chosen emergency contacts in priority order, starting with contact number one.

Press 1 to accept

Contacts can press 1 to accept or 0 to decline. If a call is missed, unanswered or goes to voicemail, CareFall Care continues to the next contact.

What happens if no one answers?

CareFall Care keeps working through the contact list so the alert does not simply stop after one missed call.

  • The system continues through the chosen emergency contacts.
  • If nobody responds, the alert can retry in cycles.
  • If there is still no response, CareFall Care can step in.
  • Every SOS alert is logged for a clear record afterwards.

GPS location when it matters

The CareFall Care alarm can provide useful GPS location information, helping family members and responders understand where the wearer may be during an alert.

  • Last known location can be viewed in the portal.
  • Location information can support faster decision making.
  • Useful for families, care teams and lone worker situations.

Family members can call the CareFall Care alarm through the Family Portal at any time — not just during an emergency.

It is a simple way to check in, speak directly to the wearer and stay connected, especially if they do not use a mobile phone.

Care Journal updates

The Care Journal helps families and care teams share useful updates, notes and important information in one place.

It gives everyone involved a clearer picture of what has happened, what has been checked and whether anything needs following up.
